‘Fioretto’is a typical rural Tuscany house in North Tuscany, located on the top of a hill (450 m) and on the feet of Appennino Toscoemiliano mountains. Its favourable position provides a splendid view over thevalley of Nievole and on the surrounding hills and mountains.
The farm house is in the middle of an olive grove with scattered fruit trees ( 2 hectares) and all these are encircled from a dense forest (chestnut and oak trees, pines). Practically we are between Florence (60km) and Pisa(65km), two of most known Tuscany cities even if there are more, not less interesting like Lucca (30km), Volterra(90km) or San Gimignano (106km),Cinque Terre (115km) while Siena (120km) deserves without a fail a visit. Very close is also Collodi (14km) the homeland of Pinocchio (museum of Pinocchio) and the charming gardens of Villa Garzon, the beautiful thermal caves (underground natural rooms with different steam temperature for relax offering an unique experience ) ofMonsummano (15km) and Vinci (26km) the homeland of Leonardo Da Vinci.
So it could be a nice idea to use our farmhouse as a base to excursions around Tuscany and then rest in our relaxing place in the nature. The closest beach is about an hour by car and there are a lot of them between Pisa and Viareggio (60km) even if all west coast Tuscany is a huge beach with less or more known summer resorts like Viareggio and Forte dei Marmi (70km).
For winter and the winter sport lovers Abetone (55km) propose all the relative facilities as one of the most important winter resorts of Italy.

It's a very quiet and calm place in nature, ideal for a relaxing weekend stay or longer vacation. From the gates of ‘Fioretto’ you can reach immediately the forest and if you are lucky walking the paths you can meet a wild boar or a deer or you could pick up some mushrooms and chestnuts. You can also enjoy all this with a mountain bike.
Our zone in particular is famous for the mushrooms and the wild boar hunting and of course the high quality extra virgin olive oil of North Tuscany, which we produce as well.
The closest villages are Massa and Cozzile (two small medieval villages) which are between 'Fioretto' and the city of Montecatini Terme (historical famous bath city).

Guest can use the swimming pool, the hot-tub (in function all year round), the ping-pong table and darts.
Nestled perfectly in the landscape and in the middle of the farm swimming pool enjoys a privileged location overlooking the valley and the forest. Hot – tub is in the same area with fire place when bad weather. Nice sunbathing area surrounded from olive trees and further the forest. Hammocks are waiting to cuddle you and relax under the trees.
In the pool area there's a little bar.
There is also a big BBQ for guests with free wood and all the equipment you need to cook.
There are a lot of typical tuscany restaurants around where you can taste the delicacies of our area. You will find a map with restaurants in the apartment and the indications to the super market. Guests then often before they arrive they do some shopping in the city of Montecatini Terme and prepare their meals in the cottages where you can find all the utensils you need.
There is free parking area in the farm for your car. Also babies cot are available free of charge. Free wifi in all areas in the farm. We produce fine quality of olive oil and jams from our trees available to buy for you or your friends back home.
In our area there is activities for all tastes. You can walk in the paths of the forest or do it with our mountain bike.
Very interesting are the village of Buggiano Castello, Massa, Cozzile, Montecatini Alto, all medioval villages and small to walk them all. Also nice walks among olive goroves and vineyards , specialy near Montecarlo village where you can have wine tasting and taste the area's salumi's and cheece's.
Montecatini Terme
Montecatini's thermal baths are the treasure of our area, built on real ancient spas.
Very famous the mineral waters (drinking) recommended for doctorts in Italy for cleaning and sanitize the nose – mouth tract. You can find here a wide range of spa treatments from massages to mud baths, saunas and all kind of bath treatments.
Monsummano Terme
Monsummano's baths are an old establishment back to the early '600 with an big tradition to thermal tourism. The thermal caves (Grotta Giusti) are spectacular with natural underground lakes.
Three caves with different temperatures (Paradiso, Purgatorio,Inferno) defined the eighth world's miracle fro G. Verdi are an outstanding experience. Modern structures and treatments include even spa floating and diving!
A big open air swimming pool with the thermal waters and hydromassage is available all year.

How you can reach fioretto by car’:
In any case you will need a car if you really want to enjoy what the area offers.
So, you can easily arrive to Montecatini Terme following the A11 highway (autostrada) and from there to Massa. Just out of Massa there is a road that leads up to Cozzile.
After Cozzile and a couple of kilometres on your left you will find a sign to Malocchio, follow it.
Now you are on Via Stradella street. Keep driving straight ahead until you find number 12.
