Fioretto: Presentation

‘Fioretto’ is a typical rural Tuscany house in North Tuscany, located on the top of a hill (450 m) and on the feet of Appennino Toscoemiliano mountains. Its favourable position provides a splendid view over the valley of Nievole and on the surrounding hills and mountains.
 The farm house is in the middle of an olive grove with scattered fruit trees ( 2 hectares) and all these are encircled from a dense forest (chestnut and oak trees, pines). It's a very quiet and calm place in nature, ideal for a relaxing weekend stay or longer vacation.
From the gates of ‘Fioretto’ you can reach immediately the forest and if you are lucky  walking the paths you can meet a wild boar or a deer or you could  pick up some mushrooms and chestnuts. You can also enjoy  all this with a mountain bike.
Our zone in particular is famous for the mushrooms and the wild boar hunting and of course the high quality extra virgin olive oil of North Tuscany, which we produce as well.
The closest villages are Massa and Cozzile (two small medieval villages) which are between 'Fioretto' and the city of Montecatini Terme (historical famous bath city). Practically we are between Florence (60km) and Pisa (65km), two of most known Tuscany cities even if there are more, not less interesting like Lucca (30km), Volterra (90km) or San Gimignano (106km),


Cinque Terre (115km) while Siena (120km) deserves without a fail a visit. Very close is also Collodi (14km) the homeland of Pinocchio (museum of Pinocchio) and the charming gardens of.. Villa Garzon, the beautiful thermal caves (underground natural rooms with different steam temperature for relax offering an unique experience ) of Monsummano (15km) and Vinci (26km) the homeland of Leonardo Da Vinci. So it could be a nice idea to use our farmhouse as a base to excursions around Tuscany and then rest in our relaxing place in the nature.
The closest beach is about an hour by car and there are a lot of them between Pisa and Viareggio (60km) even if all west coast Tuscany is a huge beach with less or more known summer resorts like Viareggio and Forte dei Marmi (70km).
For winter and the winter sport lovers Abetone (55km) propose all the relative facilities as one of the most important winter resorts of Italy.

Around the house there are three small apartments recently restructured and furnished traditionally where before was a barn and a deposit of agricultural machineries. One of them can accommodate 2 persons, the second 3 persons and the third 4 persons .
